Provincial budget brief: allocated budget for 1402 (2023/24)

Studying the country's annual budget is important because a large share of activities in the field of culture and related arenas are budget-receiving, and appropriations are provided mainly by the government and annually through budget allocation. Therefore, analyzing and examining the Budget Laws and compiling the details of the budget allocated to various cultural sectors is an important step in assessing the quality and quantity of this sector's financing. In the present study, in order to obtain a precise picture of the country's cultural budget, the nationwide Budget Law for the years 1399–1402 (2020–2024) has been examined from three standpoints: "institutional," "thematic," and "provincial." In the overview chapter, the structure of the nationwide budget is first described briefly and in simple language, and then a general picture of the budget of various cultural sectors is presented in three formats: institutional, thematic, and provincial. Volume one addresses budget details with an institutional breakdown, volume two addresses budget details with a thematic breakdown, and finally volume three addresses budget details with a provincial breakdown.
