Iran toy industry report (based on a survey at Iran Toyx International Exhibition, 1402 (2023/24))

In the national toy industry report, the views of active toy companies in the country on the state of the industry have been examined and analyzed for the first time. In this regard, this project has sought, with a comprehensive and systemic approach, to probe various aspects of the toy industry in five sections: notable opportunities and developments, culture and content, exports and self-belief, challenges and solutions, and modernization and outlook. This was made possible by conducting a survey using a questionnaire and by the presence of a survey team at the specialized exhibition of toys and related industries (Iran Toyx-1402 (2023/24)), and the results obtained from it were described and analyzed.

It should be noted that until now, research analyzed the state of the toy industry in the country solely by using registered reports and figures; although this method has advantages, it alone cannot provide a clear view of the current situation or be a guide for the future. That is because in such analyses a linear view generally prevails and only numerical variables are addressed. The analysts, too, are solely experts or relevant officials who are not directly involved in all stages and aspects of the industry.
